Judge Joseph Dredd(usually just called Dredd) is the main character of the Judge Dredd comic book series. Created by writer John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra, Judge Dredd first debuted in Prog 2 of the 2000 AD weekly comic book (though a picture of him appeared in Prog 1, advertising the next week's strip). Judge Dredd is a Street Judge of Mega-City One.

A clone, Joe nevertheless has a family, including a brother, Rico, a niece Vienna and has had various clone brothers.
